Finally there is hope.

I firstly copied one file over and at first it did not work. Simple reason for this was because all the root and actonscript was now wrong. This did not take very long to redo.I carried this on for the other two games.

tuesday 12th March

Nothing came back from the forum and so I thought that the easiest way would be to simply copy the frames over on to the main swf file. I feel that this may also cause me many problems!! Not happy bunny

4th March

Completed the KS2 games which is a great relief. However that problem is still here about the external swfs! I decided to post my problem up on a open forum a couple of days ago but  nothing has come back yet.mmmmmmm just have to keep waiting and figure out the problem.

Tuesday 19th February

Realising that time is running out I decided to continue with building the KS2 games. To avoid any problems like the ones I am having with the fist three games I plan to build them in the main swf file. “why didn’t I do that in the first place, I am thinking”.

Tuesday 12th

Still working on why the swf files are not working.

I think that I have come to the conclusion that now the external swf has been inserted the actionscript has lost the _root and that the root is on the main timeline and not the uploading swf. I tried to use _parent and found that it started to work. Keep going.

Tuesday 30th January

After collecting user feedback and using that in changing the three games I started to merge them in to the main swf file. I can not understand why the swf files do not work when they are unloaded in to the main swf. They work perfectly when they are on their own but not when they are joined together.this is something I need to look in to.

11th

Created a small clock which will be on the front of the homepage in a shape of a fruit!
Created a masking effect of a role of fruit which will be some interaction for the user. This will be at the bottom of the main interface!
Nearly finished the Science ks1 part 1 section but created a small quiz which will follow on after the part 1…The facts which have been seen from the previous sections are vital from them to get 100% out of the quiz!

To finish the game i need to create a section at the beginning which will allow them to link up the animal to their habitat…for exam a horse will live in a stable and then will take you to label the horse…….!

Thursday 27th November

Rearange Maths KS1 game so it was more fluent!
Worked on 2nd part of the maths game but what i changed ended up breaking the game. decided to move on to another section and eventually go back to it
Finshed the entry password part to enter the site (Still needs to be added to main work)
Started to look more in to the science KS1 Games.
